Can local memory-modulated rules reproduce a wider repertoire of adaptive field behaviours without symbolic logic?

The model combines decaying scalar memory, stochastic utility, attraction/avoidance mapping, speed modulation, and a global regime switch; 2D and 3D visualisations are reported.

  • The demonstrations report associative and anticipatory response patterns.
  • Prolonged excitation produces a fragmentation/collapse regime rather than unlimited stable adaptation.
  • Navigation and regulation emerge from local field rules in the selected scenarios.

The behavioural vocabulary is descriptive and model-internal. No claim of consciousness, emotion, biological equivalence, or autonomous general intelligence is supported.

This work reports a theoretical or simulation result within a stated model. It is not physical validation of a technology and requires independent verification before real-world transfer.
